Wyoming Adventures

Last weekend we took a little mini vacation and headed up to see my family in Lovell, Wyoming.
We packed up the night before and were very excited as it was a much needed break.

Driving boredom
We stopped in Riverton to see my friend Austin who lives there now. She is pregnant with her 1st and just found out its a boy! We haven't seen each other in a year and a half. It was sooo good to see her, we stayed the night with her and headed the rest of the way up. We had to stop in Walmart for some supplies and happened to look at car seats and one of the ones I'd been looking at was on sale! YES! So quick decision we bought it.

Abbie in her old car seat.

And in her new.

She absolutely loves her new one as she can now see out the window.
I just can't wait till she hits that 22 pound mark and can be turned face forward!
On the drive up Devin says "I never knew Wyoming was pretty." ha ha but really the drive was gorgeous! Much better scenery than my drive up to Laramie.

When we got to Lovell my brother had to take us to Devils canyon and reservoir .
Its basically like lake Powell but lots colder!

Oh! My mom, dad, Carl, and grandparents had come up earlier that day. :)

(This is Austin and baby Dawson...I can't move it up for some reason...)

And than the whole reason for our trip ...
Meeting my adorable niece!
Ashlyn Sadie Hamer

She is so precious and its amazing how much she resembled abbie to me.

The boys were very entertained with Snowboarding on the Wii and making race tracks around the house.

I was entertained by just watching Ashlyn and was very surprised at how well Abbie did around her. :)

Sunday was her blessing.

Her cute dress G-ma Nelson made.

The cousins taking a bath.

It is VERY hard to get 4 children to cooperate for a picture! geez

Oh and we went to the park on Saturday too and was worn out...these are the best ones of the bunch!

Well another weekend gone.
Now we just need to get through this next couple weeks of school work and finals and it will be stear clear to the wedding. Only 12 more weeks. Crazy!
